කාලි ලිනක්ස් මේක ඇවිල්ලා ඇඩ්මිනිස්ට්‍රෂන් ටූල් එකක් ඒ වුනාට මේක තනිකර os එකක්. මේකෙන් hack කරන්නත් පුළුවන්. ගොඩක් ය පාවිච්චි කරන්නේ ඒකට තමා.එහෙනම් මේ පහල තියෙන ලින්ක් වලට  ගිහින් ඩවුන්ලෝඩ් කරගන්න.

කාලි ලිනක්ස් ගැන කියනවනම් මේක හදලා තියෙන්නේ ඩේබියන් මෙහෙයුම් පද්දතියේ කේත සටහන් උපයෝගී කරගෙන. පරික්ෂා කිරීමේ මෘදුකාංග 600 කට වැඩ මේකේ අන්තර්ගතයි. ඒ කියන්නේ මේ os එක දාපු ගමන් software 600ක් ඉන්ස්ටෝල් වෙනවා නිකන්ම. මේ software වලින් කිහිපයක් තමා nmap (පොර්ට් ස්කෑන් කරන එකක්) Wireshark (පැකට් ඇනලයිසර් එකක්) John the Ripper (පාස්වර්ඩ් කඩන එකක් )
 Burp suite and OWASP ZAP (වෙබ් සයිට් වල සෙකුරිටි පරික්ෂා කරන එකක්.) මේ වගේ තව ගොඩක් ඒවා තියෙනවා.

මේක අපිට computer එකට ඉන්ස්ටෝල් කරලත් වැඩ කරගන පුළුවන්. ඒ වගේම live cd වල බූට් කරන්නත් පුළුවන්. වර්චුවල් මැෂින් වලත් රන් කරවන්න පුළුවන්.

මේ වනකොට කාලි os එක ARM ප්‍රොසෙසර් වලටත් නිකුත් වෙලා තියෙනවා.
